Reshmi Chetram is an Indo Canadian performing artist, dance educator & creative director in North America. Having trained with her mother, Deviekha Chetram, founder of the" Tarana Dance Centre " in Toronto for over 20 years,she then went onto further her knowledge in Kathak after being accepted under the tutelage of Kathak legend, Pandit Birju Maharaj in New Delhi, India from 2005-2012. Reshmi has given performances and workshops in Canada, U.S & India. Locally she has been recognized as a choreographer and performing artist on the rise & has taken part in numerous productions and events. Reshmi was selected as 1 of 19 International artists to take part in "Dance Intense" in Calcutta India. In 2008 Reshmi debuted her first choreography at "L’oreal’s Luminato Festival" in Toronto, with “Jaala" & has since choreographed & been featured for High Profile events such as Neeta Lulla Fashion Show, Miss World Canada, Raptors Half Time Shows, Canada Dance Festival, Trillium Foundation, R.O.M & much more.

Since, Reshmi has gone on to work with leading choreographers in her career such as, Lata Pada, Janak Khendry, Deepti Gupta, Kumudini Lakhia, Divya Kumar, Sandhya Desai & seen along side stars, Lisa Ray, Kabir Bedi, Zeenat Aman, Sukshinder Shinda & many others. In 2007 Reshmi founded her Indian Fitness program 'BollyFit'and has since developed a Bollywood Fitness Curriculum & certificate program with ambassadors in different regions and states, offers classes, as well as produced and host to her show ‘BollyFit’ on air in Canada and the U.S.

As the Creative Director &  Choreographer of Tarana, Reshmi trains & guides students at from the age of 3-65yrs in the art of dance. Reshmi serves as the Executive Director for Natya Arts Productions, which focuses on the promotion of Indian Classical Arts in Canada.
